NIRMALA GRAMA SAMITHI TRASI
Turtle Bay has from the beginning of operations from 1990 onwards followed the basic guidelines for Sustainable responsible tourism. In April 2009 we formed a committee called NIRMALA GRAMA SAMITHI TRASI - with members drawn from the local community and the village panchayat. The aim of the body is to see that all the village members are made aware of the health and hygiene aspects of the family especially with the education on importance of having and using toilets at home. The goal is to see that all the houses in the village have and use toilets in a period of time.
